Non-nationals with Japanese language skills stand a far greater chance of employment than those without. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications’ Statistics Bureau in Japan recently reported the changes in employee numbers in major industries from 2002 to April 2005. Industries on the rise is Information and Communications with a volume of 1.59 to 1.8 million workers with a substantial number of Non-nationals with Japanese language skills has already become a part of this segment of the industry with a good number from India off course.
